Dr. Comartin research focuses on social welfare policies and interventions for vulnerable populations in the criminal/legal system. Most recently she is working with community partners to evaluate the implementation and outcomes of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management teams, which attempt to prevent mass violence events.
